Divided District Studios is a Independent Comic Book Company from Staten Island, New York. Founder of the press, Shawn McArthur, has always wanted to make comic books for his friends and close ones and decided to not wait for the mainstream companies to tell the stories he desires to tell. His wife and business partner co- founder and vp, Jodi Dareal decided to team up and double down on themselves to make the comic books they've have always wanted to read. "that is the family goal!" to make sure that we do not lose our integrity with how we make our books, to let our imaginations run wild and to separate ourselves from the misconception of comics is just "capes and boy wonders" or even for the average comic book reader. Hence the name and logo. We desire to tell stories that come from the heart just like everyone else....but cooler. from the art & literature we create and the products we produce our only intent in mind is that we encourage readers to step outside of what you know and enjoy the new experience.
